AutoVex is revolutionizing the used car market by offering car dealers a modern and efficient, digital purchasing platform whilst simultaneously offering consumers an effortless way to sell their car for the best possible price. We’re pioneers in our field and the largest player in Finland. 🏎️UI DESIGNER

We’re looking for a UI Designer to work side by side with our UX Designer, Product Manager and Tech team to help us develop our product to be the best possible C2B platform in the world. You would be responsible for the visual elements of our autovex.fi platform, ensuring our platform's interface is aesthetically pleasing, consistent, and aligned with the brand’s identity, while also being user-friendly. You’d be working on a groundbreaking product that’s disrupting the market, with hundreds of thousands of users, in a company that is still small enough for you to have a big impact, but big enough to have financial stability and all the resources for future growth. We’re also scaling to new countries, exciting isn’t it?

🎨 Responsibilities:

• Design visually appealing and cohesive UI components (buttons, typography, icons, etc.) based on wireframes and prototypes provided by our UX designer.

• Work closely with UX designer and developers to ensure designs are implemented accurately.

• Maintain and evolve a consistent design system or style guide that ensures a unified look and feel across the product.

• Ensure that the UI is optimized for various devices and screen sizes, particularly mobile, given the nature of our digital marketplace.

• Iterate on designs based on user feedback and performance data, refining layouts, colors, and visual elements as needed.

• Enable accessible and inclusive design in all stages

🎯 You will succeed in this role if you have the following experience:

• Strong graphic design skills with attention to detail and a deep understanding of visual hierarchy and typography.

• Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe Creative Suite.

• Understanding of front-end development principles for effective collaboration with developers. Familiarity with HTML and CSS is beneficial but not an absolute requirement.

• Familiarity with responsive design and mobile-first design principles.

• Strong communication skills in English. Finnish and/or Swedish language is considered an advantage.
