⭐️About the role
As Head of Sales, you will lead and inspire a team of account managers implementing sales strategies, processes, and tools while developing and scaling the team to drive business growth. You will play a pivotal role in shaping the business side sales to achieve our aspiring goals while ensuring exemplary customer engagement and sales execution. AutoVex already has years of experience in developing relationships with our clients but you will get to level this up to the next stage in creating even more value to our partners on a longer term. You will be supported by the analytics team and work closely with other sales teams and product development providing business side sales input in cross-team initiatives. You will report to the COO.
Whether your experience is in SaaS, software development, or another fast-moving industry, what matters most is your drive to build, scale, and win. You do not need a car industry background; we are after talent ready to accelerate change, not maintain the status quo. Your transferable skills and commercial edge are what will complete the team and enable deepening the relationships with our current and customers to come.
💻 Responsibilities
The work will start with collaborating with COO and other relevant stakeholders in defining business side sales & commercial strategy for the next strategy cycle to execute it with the following responsibilities:
- Driving net new logo acquisition by proactively prospecting and engaging with C-level executives as a core part of Autovex’s sales strategy
- Leading, scaling, mentoring, and developing your own team of Account Managers promoting a high-performance and collaborative atmosphere
- Implementing data-driven sales strategies to drive growth and expansion in Finland
- Introduce and optimize tools, processes, and reporting structures to maximize sales team effectiveness
- Represent Autovex in C-level customer discussions, actively supporting account management and strengthening strategic relationships
- Learn and channel customer needs and market intelligence to other sales teams, marketing and product development in cross-team business development initiatives
🎯Skills, knowledge, and expertise to succeed
- Proven success in B2B sales leadership, with a strong track record of driving growth and exceeding business goals, preferably from scaling-stage companies (minimum 3–5 years experience)
- Experience leading teams, with the ability to inspire, develop, and guide your team to success with a data-driven approach to sales strategy
- Foundational understanding of Revenue Operations (RevOps) metrics and structures, with the capability to align new business development and existing client growth into a scalable revenue model
- Excellent interpersonal skills, a collaborative mindset, and a humble attitude
- Demonstrated KPI-driven mindset combined with the ability to build trust with executives and translate high-level direction into actionable growth plans
- Fluency in Finnish and English
