From teaching consumers a new way to sell cars to building a recognizable brand, the team is driving impact every single day. This is why marketing lies at the heart of our company’s growth.
We interviewed Pia, our Chief Marketing Officer, about the journey so far: how the team has evolved, what day-to-day life looks like and what kind of people thrive in AutoVex marketing.
The evolution of the team
“When I first joined AutoVex, I was the only person managing marketing,” says Pia. “We made a clear decision straight from the start: we want to build everything in-house.”
Shortly after Pia came on board, a graphic designer joined the team to sharpen the visual side of our brand. A data-driven performance and analytics expert followed, bringing campaign insight and optimization. Quickly after that, a content specialist was hired. As the company expanded to Sweden in 2024, we welcomed a local marketing manager in Stockholm.
What began as a one-person function has grown into a multidisciplinary team of experts, each playing a unique role in making sure our message reaches the right people in the right way — whether it’s through performance ads, engaging content or impactful design.
Over time, responsibilities within the company have become more structured, and so has the understanding of how marketing drives business growth.
“Today, our roles are clearly defined and strategically aligned. We’ve built a truly collaborative team where every skill is valued and working seamlessly together,” Pia adds.
Making marketing matter
As the team has grown, so has the level of sophistication and ownership. Brand identity has evolved, visual design has matured and advertising has expanded far beyond the early days of just Google and Facebook.
Today, marketing is embedded throughout the entire customer journey. This shift reflects the growing responsibility and trust placed in the team.
As Pia puts it, “Almost everything a company does is marketing in one way or another. Our team has naturally taken on more ownership over time.”
Marketing is a critical driver of success. Awareness, trust and conversions are all fueled by a marketing strategy that mixes creativity with deep customer insight.
“Marketing has been one of the key engines of our growth for years,” Pia says. “And it’s only getting more important.”
It’s clear that marketing goes far beyond running ads or writing copy. It's about reshaping how people think about selling a car. Turning what was once stressful into something easy, safe and even enjoyable.
“We’re not just marketers, we’re educators,” Pia explains. “We help people understand that there’s a better way to sell a car, and we guide them through it.”
What everyday life looks like
Daily life in the team is anything but routine. Projects range from cross-channel ad campaigns and brand initiatives to website optimization and automation flows. Everyone brings their own expertise, and collaboration is baked into everything.
“We all know our own strengths and rely on each other to get the best results,” Pia shares. “It’s a mix of independence and teamwork.”
Weekly team meetings — joined by our Swedish Marketing Manager — keep the group aligned and inspired. There are also regular one-on-ones, creative brainstorms and quick check-ins that keep the energy high and communication strong.

“You need creativity, but also curiosity,” says Pia. “We love to test and experiment to find new ways to connect with our audience.”

Looking ahead
The future of the marketing team is all about development, both for the business and the people in it. Marketing at AutoVex is not about repeating the same playbook. As the market shifts and customer needs evolve, so does the team’s work.
New tools, channels and creative approaches are constantly explored. The goal is not just to keep up but to stay one step ahead.
“As the company grows, so do the opportunities,” Pia says. “We’re never standing still. The world changes, marketing changes, and we’re ready for what’s next.”
