As we grow, we’re evolving the way our product team operates to better serve both our customers and our internal teams. So, what does the future hold for product at AutoVex? Let’s dive in.
A culture of continuous improvement
At AutoVex, we’ve proven that our business model works. We’re the market leader in our field, and our platform is delivering real results. But like any fast-moving and ambitious company, we know we’re not done. To keep evolving, we need to keep improving how we work.
Our approach to product development is rooted in iteration and learning. We don’t build for the sake of building but measure, test and adjust to stay on the right track. That’s the kind of culture we’re pursuing, and we’re well-positioned to do it: we’re still small enough to be nimble and bold without unnecessary blockers.
“We believe in empowered product teams. That means our product team isn’t just following instructions from leadership – it’s actively identifying opportunities for improvement and driving meaningful changes,” UX Lead Jussi explains.
Of course, we’re not claiming to have everything figured out. This is a direction we’re committed to – and we’re looking for others who believe in the same kind of product thinking to help us build it.
One of our real strengths is our direct connection to our users. We receive constant feedback, making it easy for us to understand what’s working and what’s not.
“Our strong access to both customer insights and founder vision allows us to move quickly in the right direction. We’re focused on outcomes over output. It’s not about shipping features, but about creating real value,” Jussi adds.
Strengthening the product-tech connection
Our product team operates closely with our tech team, forming what we call the "tech-product" unit. A big focus for the future is strengthening the collaboration even further. We want to create more touchpoints where ideas and feedback flow naturally between teams.
“We’re working on improving communication and adding more channels where we can discuss new feature ideas and enhancements,” Head of Development Marcus says. “The more we talk, the better we can influence the final product.”
“Our developers shouldn't be just implementers but active contributors to the design and decision-making process. That’s a huge strength,” he adds.
Creating a unified product approach
The synergy between product and tech will be critical, but our goal is to create a product team that works closely with every other team in the company. This way we ensure that we deeply understand both the business framework and user needs.
“We want to make sure our product is not only desirable and easy to use but also effectively solves real user problems while supporting our business goals. We know where we’re headed. Reaching that goal requires strong communication and collaboration across teams,” says Jussi.
We already have a great foundation. Our teams are highly accessible at our Helsinki office, and there’s strong energy and commitment to improving how we work together. The key is structuring our ways of working so that we can operate as one seamless unit.
Marcus shares a similar perspective: “Our teams are incredibly self-driven. They take initiative and accomplish amazing things. The culture here is open – everyone has a voice, and we genuinely listen to different ideas.”
Who we are looking for next
As we grow, we’re looking for people who thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment. We are already successful, but we want more, and we need the right people to help us get there.
“We don’t expect everything to be perfect when you join. In fact, we want someone who sees opportunities for improvement and takes ownership in driving change,” Jussi explains.

“We’re not looking for someone to just execute tasks. We want a team member who questions, experiments and helps shape the future of our product,” he adds.
We’re also excited about leveraging emerging technologies that can enhance our platform’s performance. “We’re not stuck in old ways of doing things. We test and adopt what makes sense for us,” Jussi says.
